Is your favourite grape 'red'? Do you live in terror of 'terroir'? Wines Direct is teaming up with top Cavan restaurants, The Oak Room and People's Restaurant, to deliver two fantastic food and wine matching masterclasses that will teach you to tell your Merlot from your Malbec!
Pairing the right wine with the right wine can really enhance a dining experience, and push you to try new or exciting wines that you may not otherwise try.
Participants in this masterclass will enjoy three taster dishes from The Oak Room or People's that will elevate the specially-paired wines to new heights!
The classes will take place in Food Court 3 at Cavan Equestrian Centre during the Taste of Cavan Food Festival, which takes place on Friday, 10 and Saturday, 11 August, 2018. The class with Chef Norbert Neylon of The Oak Room takes place on Friday at 7.45pm. The class with Chef Robert Read of People's Restaurant takes place on Saturday at 4pm.
